What is Remote IT Support?

Remote support lets us connect securely to your computer over the internet and fix problems without you having to bring the device into the workshop or wait for a callout. You stay in control: you see exactly what we are doing, and you can disconnect at any time. We use industry-standard tools and a one-time access code so the connection ends as soon as the session does.

A note on what we don’t cover

We focus on Windows and PC support. We do not currently offer games-console repair, mobile phone or tablet screen replacement, or Apple Mac warranty work. For those, we recommend a specialist provider. Remote support cannot fix hardware faults — if we identify a hardware issue during a session, we will let you know and refund any unused time.

Frequently asked questions

Is remote support safe?

Yes. We use industry-standard remote-support software with end-to-end encryption. You start the session, you can see everything we do, and the connection ends automatically when the session is over. We never store credentials or leave any background access on your computer.

What if the problem can’t be fixed remotely?

Some issues (a broken screen, failed hard drive, no power) require physical hands-on work. If we identify a hardware fault during the session we will let you know straight away and refund any unused time. You can then book a workshop or mail-in repair if needed.

What do I need at my end?

A computer that turns on, an internet connection, and a phone or second device to communicate with us while we work. We will guide you through downloading the small connection helper (usually under 5MB) at the start of the session.

Do you support businesses across the UK?

Yes. Remote support is available anywhere in the UK with an internet connection. We work with home users, sole traders, SMEs, schools and public-sector clients. Invoiced payment terms are available for established business and public-sector accounts.

How quickly can you connect?

Same-day sessions are usually available during working hours (Monday to Friday 8am–6pm, Saturday 8am–12pm). For urgent business issues, please call 07958 468 173 to discuss availability.
